Mozilla released version 1.4a of its browser suite this week.

This release is widely rumored to be the basis for the next Netscape release, which to this point has been based on the 1.0 branch. This would appear to make sense with the new Mozilla project plans announced in the newly revised Mozilla Roadmap, which states that the 1.4 branch will replace the 1.0 branch as the "stable" branch.
